My vintage vanity or “Ole Bess” as I have come to call her - has been with me since I was a 3rd grader. I can’t say 100% however, my guess is that this little beauty came from 1920’s.
To my mother’s delight as a youngster I stuck stickers on her, labeled my drawers one year with tape and a magic marker; you know the rather typical things a child does from time to time. Nonetheless I have drug her around with me these many years – mainly letting her live in storage and so unloved! Just over a year ago she again saw the light of day.
Without further ado…

I suggest using polyurethane if your vanity will be around alot of makeup and hairspray.
Its just more durable.
